Receiver marked "Model 1865 Spencer Repeating Rifle, Pat'd March 6, 1860, Manuf 'd At Prov. R.I. By Burnside Rifle Co.". Serial number 3586 next to the hammer. Side of the barrel marked "SL". Having a walnut stock, notched and ladder rear sight with a wedge front sight. Includes magazine tube. Overall length of 37".
A few scuffs and gouges to the stock. Areas of light pitting to the barrel and receiver.
