Charles Martin Hardie (British, 1858-1916) Oil On Canvas, The Lovers Tryste, H 25'' W 30'' Signed lower right. Depicting a couple with a dog under a tree. Having a gilt wood and gesso frame, H 34.5", W 39.5".
Provenance: From a Lathrop Village, Michigan collector.
Not relined. Overall varnish fluoresces under UV light. Good condition with no notable issues. Some cracking and pigment loss to the frame.
