Walter Heath Williams (English, 1834-1906) Oil On Canvas "Haymakers", H 24'' W 36'' Landscape scene depicting people in the field making Haystacks. Signed lower right and framed 31" x 43". Purchased from Crowley family Estate c. Late 1950's early 1960's by sellers.
Relined. Overall varnish fluoresces under UV light. Craquelure has been stabilized throughout the painting, with areas of restoration/overpainting in the sky.
