CHIPPENDALE-STYLE SECRETARY BOOKCASE, FIRST HALF 20TH C., H 84 1/4", W 33 1/2", D 18 1/2":A Chippendale-style secretary bookcase, with swan neck pediment over two glazed doors surmounting a fall front writing surface and serpentine shaped case enclosing four drawers, raised on ball and claw feet. Apparently unmarked. With animal scratches to surface in various areas throughout piece. These appear to be cat scratches, and are not deep. There is small isolated losses to the piece throughout, mostly found on the edges and the feet. The piece also shows general wear consummate with age and use.
