COLT, .36 CAL., MODEL 1861 CONVERSION, SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER, #2132, C1875, H 7 1/2" BBL:Colt 1861 Navy Conversion .36 caliber revolver. Has matching serial numbers, #2132 on frame, trigger guard and grip strap. Stamped on 7 1/2" round barrel in single line: "Address Col. Saml Colt New York US America. Fixed front sight. Notch in top edge of hammer acts as rear sight. Smooth cylinder with navy scene and "Patent No. 2170". Original ivory grips, brass grip strap and trigger guard with "36 cal" on left side of trigger guard. Two line two patent dates on left side of frame, "July 25, 71" and "July 2, 72". Originally a percussion cap revolver converted to fire brass cartridges. Serial numbers date pre-conversion revolver to 1861.
 

Condition

Smooth action, tight fit between barrel and cylinder, wear to the cylinder scene, very little original bluing. ANTIQUE NO PAPERWORK REQUIRED. CAN SHIP DIRECTLY TO CUSTOMER, GA.
