ENGLISH TORTOISESHELL AND IVORY TEA CADDY, 18TH C., H 5", W 7 1/4", D 4":A hinged lid top, fitted interior with two lids and red velvet lining. Silver shield form escutcheon. On four ivory feet. From the Estate of Daniel Clancy, Voltaire Place, Grosse Pointe Farms.
Condition
There is cracking to the veneer; also a 1" section to the metal lining is loose at one edge. Ad There is a 1/2" chip to the tortoiseshell corner of one interior lid. RB 2-28-17
