GROUP OF CONTINENTAL ENAMELED POCKET ACCESSORIES, 3 ITEMS, H TO 2 3/4":Comprising: (1) A possibly Limoges enameled and gilt bronze patch box, 19th century, with female shepherd in pastoral scene to top, and landscape scene painted to bottom, mirror inserted to top of interior, dia. 1 3/4"; (1) enameled box of rounded bombe form, with pastoral scene to top in the Rococo taste, depicting a gentleman serenading a lady, with pastel blue and pink highlights and gilt scrolling throughout, height 1 7/8", length 2 5/8", depth 2 1/2"; and (1) French enameled perfume bottle, of cylindrical form, with continuous Rococo-style figural scene painted to sides, and floral bouquets painted to top and bottom, having stamps, including "900", to interior, height 2 3/4", dia. 7/8".

Condition

The patch box and perfume bottle both displaying visible cracks, the perfume bottle with numerous cracks. The perfume bottle also has deposits of grime to both top and bottom, and some small areas of loss. The glass insert in the perfume bottle has been broken, and fragments remain in the interior. The enameled box showing wear to painted and gilt decoration throughout, and also showing loss in the form of rubbing to interior and underside of box.
