Italian Carved Alabaster Hanging Light, Early 20th C., H 9'' Dia. 11'' Carved with low relief figures of cherubs gathering and pressing grapes. Suspended by three maroon ropes. Single socket light.
Provenance: Private Collection, Boston-Edison District, Detroit, MI (40-year resident of the Boston-Edison Ford House)
Wiring has rotted and needs to be replaced. Finial at the bottom is missing, with dried glue from an old repair (we do not have the finial). Light surface scuffs.
