IVAN P. VASILIEV, RUSSIA (B 1930), OIL ON CANVAS, H 16", W 23", THE EVENING LIGHT BEAM:Signed on verso. Frame size 18 1/2" x 26". Niva River, St. Petersburg, Russia. In 1930, he graduated from on the best Russian art schools, Leningrad Art Institute, named after I. Repin. Since that time, he has participated in numerous exhibits all over Russia and in many countries including Germany, France, Japan and Finland. In the 1980's, he taught the "art of drawing" as a full professor in the Leningrad Industrial Design School. Monogram 'VB' in lower left. In 1962 he graduated from one of the best Russian art schools - Leningrad Art institute named after I . Repin.
