J. RAWSON, OIL ON CANVAS, 1896, H 19", L 13", STANDING PEASANT:Signed and dated lower right. Unframed. "Reeves & Sons, London" material stamp to verso.
The blacklight examination was clean. There is a pin-hole on the left side of the canvas. The canvas is coming away from the stretcher on both the top and on the bottom. The stretcher is starting to mark the center of the canvas.
