JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS, SECOND HALF 19TH C., 3 PCS. H 14", L 9"- 9 5/8":A group of three Japanese woodblock prints, including: "Ishiyakushi: Actor Ichimura Kakitsu IV as Ushiwakamaru, from the series The Tokaido Road: One Look Worth a Thousand Ryo", by Toyohara Kunichika (Japanese, 1835-1900), bearing Kunichika hitsu and censors' marks, measuring 14" x 9 1/2"; one unidentified woodblock print depicting two figures in an interior setting, measuring 13 3/4" x 9"; and another identified woodblock print depicting a group of five figures sitting in an interior setting, measuring 13 7/8" x 9 5/8".

Condition

No visible repairs, with surface dirt, light handling creases, corners dog-eared, scattered loses and wear to edges, and light toning throughout.
