MINTONS PATE-SUR-PATE PORCELAIN CABINET PLATE BY ALBOIN BIRKS, LATE 19TH C., DIA 9 1/2":A round blue center panel decorated with white slip of a putti resting on a branch near a bird's nest filled with baby birds, a starry enameled gilt ground, with a surrounding floral gilt border. Decorated by Alboin Birks, monogrammed. Globe mark in pink stamped to reverse enclosed by ribbons with retailer's Philips of London, with address. Very minor losses to the gilt. Also, a 2" spider crack extending from the bottom rim upwards, with a double staple repair noted to the back. Frame included.
