MINTONS PATE-SUR-PATE PORCELAIN CABINET PLATE BY ARTHUR MORGAN, LATE 19TH C., DIA 9 1/2":A rectangular chocolate colored central reserve decorated with white slip of Cupid standing with his bow and arrow in a doorway; gilt bell flowers and berries about the reserve which is nestled amongst a starry enameled gilt ground, a trailing berry and vine motif about the beaded rim. Monogrammed at the low right, AM, decorated by Arthur Morgan. Globe mark in pink stamped to reverse enclosed by ribbons with retailer Philips of London, with address. No further markings noted.
