A PAIR OF ARTS & CRAFTS LANTERN SCONCES, EARLY 20TH C., H 12 1/2", D 5 1/2":Attributed to Biddle-Gaumer Company. A pair of Arts & Crafts sconces, each in the Gothic Revival taste, with openwork crown supports joining the circular lanterns having caramel slag glass and metal overlay, hanging from a hook decorated en suite. No apparent markings.
The slag glass with a few surface scratches and surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. The metal throughout with some light surface wear and rubbing and with surface soiling and minor discoloration consistent with age and use.
