All seven matching chairs having cedar carved, legs, backs, and split log seats. Two chairs retain their original Rittenhouse blue foil labels. The Rittenhouse Rustic Furniture Company was founded in 1928 by John Rittenhouse and his distinctive cedar creations furnished Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin cottages in the early 20th c.. The company manufactures premium quality rustic furniture in Cheboygan, MI to this day. Provenance: property of a Kalamazoo, MI private collector
