ROCOCO REVIVAL ELABORATELY CARVED WALNUT DINING SUITE, C. 1900, H 30", L 72", D 45":A carved walnut dining suite, comprising: one Rococo Revival Louis XV-style console table, the shaped marble top above a conforming boldly carved frieze with a floral and paterase motif and having three drawers, above six volute-form legs carved with acanthus leaves and having scrolling details above stepped block feet, all joined by a flowing stretcher centered by a ring; one Rococo Revival Louis XV-style dining table, the canted rectangular top opening to accommodate five leaves (including two leaves which continue the carved apron) surmounting an elaborately carved frieze, raised on four volute-form legs carved with acanthus leaves at the leaves and having scrolling details above stepped block feet, all joined by curved stretchers centered with four waterleaf carved and turned pedestals; and a set of eight dining chairs, including one arm chair and seven side chairs, each having a domed crest above the upholstered back, the seats are in light green upholstery, raised on baluster shaped squared legs joined by an H-stretcher. Console table: 37 1/2" height, 89" length, 23" depth. Dining table: 30" height, 72" length, 45" depth. Chairs: 48" height, 27" width, 25" depth. From the Estate of Palmer T. Condition

With wear throughout consistent with age and use. In used condition. There is a steam stain in the center of the table approx.18" long and 18" wide.   The stretcher from one chair has come loose. We have the part. TW 7-26-17
