Full walnut stock with no visible stamps. Barrel bearing a VP over an eagle head proof mark. Serial number 231031 is marked behind the breech. Lock marked Springfield 1873 with an eagle crest. Having a rear ladder sight with a blade front sight. Includes socket bayonet (L 18" blade). Provenance: Property of a Rochester Hills, MI private collector.
