Percussion cap with full walnut stock. Smooth round barrel. Lock marked with an eagle crest over U.S. and Harpers Ferry 1841. Barrel having proof marks of V P and an eagle head. Marked 1853 at the tang. The stock is hand stamped H.B.C. (Hudson Bay Company) and E.B. under a fox (Edward Bond).
