A previously undocumented example of a Tiffany Studios "Fancy Goods" tea trivet on a Grecian inspired bronze base. Trivet consisting of a center gold Favrile disc with concentric circles comprised of iridescent tiles in colors of bronze, peacock blue, green, and copper contained within a bronze relief lip in an egg dart bas relief design. Three bronze legs on a "Y" form stretcher. The legs are designed as griffon legs with claw feet and knees in a semi relief Moorish motif with masks. Stretcher having the Impressed TGDCO (Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company) monogram over the Tiffany Studios New York stamp. Provenance: Property of a Royal Oak, MI private collector. By family descent. No damage or restoration.
