Bears marks "Harper's Ferry U.S. 1808", .69 cal. musket converted to percussion cap approximately 1844. Stamped 'Harper's Ferry 1808' on lock plate behind hammer. The U.S. Armory mark on the side plate in front of the hammer. Engraved stars on the hammer. The U.S. proof marks are stamped on the top of the barrel at the lock plate. Walnut stock. Steel butt plate. Includes a gray knit cover.
