VICTORIAN STERLING & CRYSTAL INKSTAND & SNUFF BOX BY WILLIAM COMYNS, LONDON, 1898-99, W 2"-10":Including a square crystal inkwell, a footed desk tray with acanthus leaves bordering a cherubim motif, and a matching oval snuff box with gold wash interior, W.2". Retailed by J.C. Vickery, marked at the underside of the tray. Marked with the English passant lion, uncrowned leopard head for London, and makers mark (see additional photo). The inkwell top is loose at the hinges, and there are 3 chips to the corners and a 1" loss to a corner of the crystal. In good, used condition.
