CONTINENTAL WHITE METAL & NIELLO PATCH BOX, 19TH C., L 3 1/4", MOTIF OF RACING JOCKEYS:A rectangular white metal box with hinged cover etched with motif of two jockeys racing, niello decoration about. Stamped only "578" on edge of lid (see additional photo); no other hallmarks. Measures H.1" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4". From the estate of Barbara K. Wrigley of Grosse Pointe Farms.
There is wear to the image and wear to the enamel decoration at the outside.
