The USFA (United States Food Administration) was created during WWI to promote the domestic consumption of corn over more valuable items such as beef that was shipped overseas to the soldiers. "The W.F. Powers Co. Litho; N.Y." lower bottom right edge. "No. 14" and USFA medallion in lower left hand corner.
