ZAIRE AFRICAN CARVED WOOD AND RAFFIA MASK, 20TH C., H 24", W 7":Measurements not including hair. "African Heritage LLC." label on verso. Elongated facial structure. Facial features include two closely set eyes, nose, and rounded open mouth. Wood dotted below eyes, possibly emulating scarification marks of a particular tribe. Adorned with hair and beard of raffia. Two large "superstructures" protruding from top of head.
