GROUP OF AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN SILVER SNUFF BOXES, 3 PIECES, L TO 3 5/8":A group of (3) Austro-Hungarian silver snuff boxes, comprising: (1) silver snuff box decorated throughout with engraved foliate scrolls, and a repousse foliate scroll design to top lip centered by a shell, with a gold-washed interior stamped with maker's marks, Prague, 1850's, 2.95 troy ounces; (1) silver snuff box with guilloche pattern throughout and engraved central cartouches surrounded by scrolling foliate frames, with Diana's head and unknown maker's marks reading "JAR", weighing 3.85 troy ounces; and (1) silver snuff box with engraved scrolling foliate design to top and guilloche throughout, with gilt interior, maker's marks stamped to interior, early 19th century, weighing 3.40 troy ounces. Weighing approximately 10.2 troy ounces total.

Condition

In fair to good overall condition, all the cases displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Heavier wear and marks visible to the hammered case with numerous deeper scratches and nicks.
