PAIR OF OBLONG SNUFF BOXES, 19TH C., L TO 3 1/4":Comprising: one Swedish lozenge-form box, possibly Gavle, with monogram to lid within an engraved hand-chased border to top and hand-cut monogram to bottom, marks: "EBB" stamped to center of top, city mark for Gavle, three crowns mark, an "H" or "K", and "PB" within a square, weighing 1.96 troy ounces; and a C. Parker oval metal snuff box having a hinged lid with a central engraved cartouche surrounded by a grape-leaf motif, reading "Orra Cook" in cartouche and stamped "Pat. Jan 24 1860 / C. Parker (under a star)".

The C. Parker box is misshapen due to being dented inwards on both its top and bottom. Both boxes have scratches, scuffs, nicks, and grime deposits throughout consistent with age and use (MK).   The lid of the C. Parker box is partially detached. Rb 1-5-17
