MAUREEN WICKE (1916-1998) SILVER AND HERKIMER QUARTZ SURPRISE EGG, H 3", DIA 1 1/2":Ethel Maureen Wicke (Canadian-American, 1916-1998). Untitled. Third quarter 20th century. Of ovid form, with a slightly textured exterior, the top with a cluster of herkimer quartz, opening to reveal a herkimer quartz raised on a stand, the whole raised on a bed of herkimer quartz and rock. No apparent marks. The whole weighing 131.1 grams total.
With light surface scratches and minor marks to exterior throughout, and some very minor dings to interior band at egg middle.
