MAUREEN WICKE (1916-1998) SILVER & CLOISONNE ENAMELED SURPRISE EGG H 2 1/2", DIA 1 3/4":Ethel Maureen Wicke (Canadian-American, 1916-1998). Untitled. Third quarter 20th century. Of ovid form, with polychrome cloisonne enameled floral decorated exterior, opening to reveal a carved amethyst and jade bouquet held by silver hands, raised on a base of silver. No apparent marks. The whole weighing 210.7 grams.
With sporadic pinhole-sized firing faults to exterior throughout, but consistent with lot's handmade execution. Some minor surface scratches to exterior.
