Of ovid form, with slightly textured exterior, the top cracking open to reveal plant sprouts, the egg opening to reveal a 14kt yellow gold spring and a 14kt yellow gold figural ring depicting a couple embracing, the whole raised on a base of roots. The ring and the interior of the egg stamped with maker's mark. The ring size 5.75. The whole weighing 125.2 grams.

With light surface scratches on exterior throughout, some very minor dings to interior band at egg middle, and the hinge is slightly loose. The spring may be damaged, but it is unclear if this was an intentional part of the design.
