MAUREEN WICKE (1916-1998) SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMELED SURPRISE EGG H 2 1/2", W 2 1/2", L 3 1/2", "ALL THAT JAZZ":Ethel Maureen Wicke (Canadian-American, 1916-1998). "All That Jazz". Third quarter 20th century. In two pieces, of ovid form, with polychrome cloisonne enameled decorated exterior, opening to reveal a solid gold six person jazz band set in a resin base. With maker's mark to interior hinge. Weighing 314.5 grams total.

Condition

With sporadic pinhole-sized firing faults to exterior throughout, but consistent with lot's handmade execution. Some minor surface scratches to exterior, and some minor rubbing marks to resin bottom
