H 13"-14", L 9 1/2"- 9 5/8":A group of five Utagawa Kunisada I (Japanese, 1786-1864) woodblock prints, including: two sheets from the tryptich "Acts IV, V, and VI: Actors Onoe Baikô 4.5 as Ishidô Umanosuke, Nakamura Kamezô I as Ono Kudayû, Nakamura Fukusuke I as En'ya Hangan, Kataoka Nizaemon VIII as Ôboshi Yuranosuke, Nakamura Fukusuke I as Ono Sadakurô, Ôtani Tokuji II as Farmer (Hyakushô)", each sheet measuring 13 1/2" x 9 1/2"; an unidentified print depicting a beauty near a cherry blossom, measuring 14 1/2" x 9 5/8"; an unidentified print probably depicting an actor, measuring 14" x 9 1/2"; and an unidentifed print probably depicting a scene from a tryptich, measuring 14" x 9 1/2". All bearing toshidama cartouches and censor's seals.

Condition

No visible repairs, with surface dirt, light handling creases, corners dog-eared, scattered loses and wear to edges, and light toning throughout.
